With over a decade of experience in technology, my journey has taken me from Hardware Technician to IT and Support to Software Developer and now to Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). I bring my wide range of experience to the highly diverse discipline that is SRE.
In this role, I partnered with internal software engineering teams to resolve critical support issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customer-facing systems. My role included overseeing change management for infrastructure updates and deployments, where I balanced stability with innovation. I designed and deployed scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, while also mentoring junior engineers in reliability best practices.
In this role, I monitored and maintained proprietary data pipelines, resolved failures in infrastructure and deployment processes. I contributed to system reliability improvements using Python, Bazel, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while ensuring seamless operation of financial data workflows.
In this role, I provided technical support for robotic systems and cloud infrastructure, resolving high-severity incidents to meet SLA targets. My responsibilities included mentoring peers, optimizing monitoring metrics, and working with Python, GraphQL, SQL, and networking tools to maintain uptime for deployed solutions.
Pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Wilkes University, which laid the foundation for my technical career.
